The Answers in a Dream

Since having my daughter Mynrow, I am always asking Rowyn to make herself known to her little sister. I continuously ask her to be present in our lives and to hopefully still have a relationship with her sister even though they have never met. I talk to Rowyn daily and still keep her memory alive for Wyatt but it’s heartbreaking to me that Mynrow never got to spend time with her big sister. I know Rowyn would be the best big sissy and want nothing more than Mynrow to grow up still having a connection with her big sister..

I have shared in previous blogs how I have been wanting so badly to have a dream of Rowyn for many months now. Well…I still haven’t had one for a very long time, but I think Rowyn sends me messages by visiting my close friends or family in their dreams knowing they will tell me. Just a few days ago Rowyn’s one day Auntie Preslie shared with me a dream she had of her.

Preslie and I were at the Tenino park with my two living children Wyatt and Mynrow. In the dream Mynrow was a little older, about the age Rowyn was when she passed. She looked like Rowyn but with brown hair and her olive complexion. The kids were playing and enjoying their time at the park while Preslie and I sat on a bench watching them. A little ways away from us there was a large concrete cylinder that the kids could crawl through. We kept seeing Rowyn looking out at us and waving. We were both so happy to see her but it’s like we were not able to walk over and talk to her. She just kept waving at us and smiling just like she used to do when she was still here. Mynrow saw her and went running over to her. Rowyn was whispering into Mynrow’s ear telling her a secret that we couldn’t hear. Preslie knew in the dream for some reason we weren’t supposed to know what she was saying. Mynrow and Rowyn giggled together and then Mynrow ran off and started playing again with Wyatt. Rowyn looked at us again with a big smile and waved and continued to watch us from afar and then disappeared.

After Preslie shared her dream with me I of course asked her if she felt like it was a visitation. She said yes absolutely. Her not knowing my private talks alone with Rowyn she confirmed for me what I had previously been talking to sissy about. She said she felt strongly that Rowyn was telling her that she is always watching us, maybe from afar but she is always with me and the kids. That she does have a relationship with her sister. A special one that we don’t know about, that’s why she was whispering to her. We knew we couldn’t go see her but it was very easy for Mynrow to run over and see her up close…Maybe Mynrow can see her? It has given me comfort knowing my baby does send me messages regardless if it’s in my dream or someone else’s but it’s a blessing to have that feeling of communication again with her, and what an amazing way to let me know that she is still very much involved with her siblings lives.
